trying create path animation, it's not working.  understand easy way create mask path, cut path , paste object's position property.   however, layer has mask, when create second mask path, , cut , paste it, it's pasting in mask, if have position property selected.   a bit more detail: there psd layer w/ several seeds flying in wind tree. need animate these.  in ae, i've duplicated layer numerous times (one each seed) , isolated seed w/ mask shape, , recentered layer anchor point center of seed.  once of layers have been separated (12 seed layers w/ 1 seed per layer). i've tried adding mask path seed layer.  i've cut mask path, selected layer's position property , pasted mask path, pastes in new mask - every time...   please help!  missing???   thx, tommy is there reason can't animate position property? i trying save illustrator file in jpeg format, pdf large printing company. unfortunately, when save jpeg or png, of image missing. not happen when save illustrator, eps, or pdf format.   not sure why layers won't export. parts of image missing within same sub-layers other parts show up. i've attached 2 screen shots ... pdf looks fine, jpeg missing of white logo , lettering @ top.   please help!   try selecting objects in question , in attributes panel, check if set overprint. don't want use overprint white. hi,   i in need of help. have allot of projects take 5-10 mins open. once project open, none of text layers display times 10-15 mins. projects have text layers. may have 1000 text layers spread across 20 different comps. other text layers, may have 30 quicktimes in project.   i have tired clearing caches , preferences , not better.   i have mac pro (trash can 8 core 64gb of ram, 48 ae). running latest operating software , current ae version.     any appreciated. well, chance accidentally have set @ least of comps raytrace 3d? if so, set them standard renderer. if using raytrace 3d intended, of course there's nothing can , it's normal. regardless of this, on standard project having thousands of text layers, possibly text animators , expressions, slow down things considerably, more if fonts use complex or ripple continuous rasterization through multiple comps or that. pushing limits of ae , should consider splitting work separate projects.   mylenium More ...

hello, installed (clean) premiere pro (10.4.0(30) build) on pc , have first troubleshooting.   if make cliip offline , try relink it, t he link media manager browser seems open but doesnt display on screen . have hit escape main premiere window.   i have tested out new project , 1 clip on timeliine.   i have 1 monitor , latest graphics drivers. i using acrobat reader dc 15.017.20053   i can not print postscript printer.   i have hp printer emulates both pcl , postscript. using latest versions of hp's universal pcl , universal postscript drivers.   i can print reader using pcl driver. can print every other application using postscript driver.   when print reader postscript driver, job sent, printer light blinks once, nothing else happens. no processing, no printing.   any ideas? thanks! it takes me 12 seconds page up/down next/previous frames in composition panel. may older hardware i'm in process of upgrading thought i'd check in here.   my project simple…   layer 1: footage minor roto brushing. layer 2: footage minor clone-stamping. layer 3: footage, nothing being done.   the area of timeline within paging up/down has no roto brushing taking place. i'm sure perf issue caused layer 2. if disable (make non-visible), things work fine, 1 2 seconds page up/down. if enable layer 2 , start deleting clone strokes paint effect, page up/down starts speed up.   i've been told need update hardware speed premiere render times, maybe issue here same… ~5 year old hardware w/2 nd generation intel processor, i7-2630qm, 6gb ram, nvidia 540m 1gb, 1tb ssd. ssd not bad hear other stuff main issue w/generally long render times... long render times not great, @ least can work premiere generally... in case, i've found ae totally unusable. rendering has tot...

i went launch illustrator cs5 yesterday, , prompted me agree user agreement. clicked agree, asked me enter serial number. did cs5, , cs2 since original product. says "you need open creative cloud this" creative cloud opens, crashes... , in cycle on , on again. go open illustrator again, , takes me right user agreement. click agree... closes , brings user agreement right up. i click update in creative cloud, , illustrator cc installed (doesn't work, don't have purchased) uninstall cases of illustrator , reinstall cs5. enter serial numbers again, agree user agreement, , install everything. user agreements pops up. click agree, closes, , pops up. on , on , over.   why doing this?!?!? which system? hi. have searched google , on forum , still cannot find answer problem. should easy don't understand why cannot find answer. right clicked on jpeg image , opened photoshop (cs4) (the way found able use jpeg background image). when turn eye off layer visibility shows transparent. fine in , of itself. want background opaque. turned down opacity 80% , pixels transparent background showing through. how rid of transparent background now? have searched everywhere using different wording , nothing shows up. thank in advance help, penne somehow turned background image floating layer. have had unlock layer able click on eyeball , adjust opacity.   the title go "background" "layer 0".   the way revert background layer select "flatten image" layer menu. hi all,   i have got synology nas , when import images memory card (via lexar usb 3 card reader/workstation) directly onto nas, import speeds ridiculously slow. using apple imac, directly plugged nas cat 6 ethernet cable.   when had western digital external 4tb drive, imported fast no problems , have nas it's extremely slow.   if drag , drop images memory card folder, folder want them in on nas, it's fast. if importing through lightroom (or ingesting through photo mechanic matter), speed slow.   synology have responded , said following:   " appears speed issue caused fact lightroom being used file transfer lexar across nas (synology). similar issues other nas brands tell lightroom not ideal making file transfers across network in manner, , recommend modifying workflow import photos lightroom directly nas if possible. reason local attached 4tb external hdd fast because there no network involved."   they suggest has lr writing xmp metadata each photograph tak...

i'm working quicktime pro res media.   in cs6, , in there if wanted "trim" project, simple selection of option. however, in cc 2015, don't see trim option, see consolidate , transcode.   want archive project video used in timeline. option so, requires transcode transcoded footage? consolidate , transcode leverages smart rendering functionality available codecs, prores 1 of supported codecs. prores, set consolidate , transcode source: individual clips, format: quicktime , preset: match source - apple prores (flavor matches clips - 422 , 422 (lt) provided , can create custom presets other prores flavors required).   you have options on right, such exclude unused clips, include handles, etc.   this should give same functionality trim option provided in cs6.
