A roblem

i'm using adobe media encoder build 9.2.0.26 on 2015 imac running el capitan 32 gb of memory , 4 ghz intel core i7 processor.   i import longer musical performances (up , on hour). never had issue until recently, upon importing concerts, audio dropping out @ random points. isn't premiere issue, because audio drops out when viewing imported file in quicktime well.   you can see in picture above 5 channels of 5.1 surround stop mid way through concert. there's no consistency time when each concert drops out. above video has audio drop out @ under 32 minutes. other concerts have dropped out @ 30 minutes, 53 minutes, 15 minutes, , 24 minutes. problem not seem occur shorter files.   here's encoder information log: - source file: /volumes/cam_mem/avchd/bdmv/stream/00008.mts - output file: /volumes/goliath/premierefiles/concerts/sp161003_oldlinestatesmen.mov - preset used: custom - video: 1920x1080 (1.0), 29.97 fps, upper, quality 90, h.264, 01:05:46:00 - audio: uncompress

i'm trying photoshop show grayscale images accurately. solid black looks cmyk rich black. made 2 documents, 1 cmyk rich black , other grayscale 100% black. both same on screen no matter color profiles, soft proof settings, etc. do. 100% black should gray compared rich black. see no "display blacks accurately" setting in indesign. i'm trying adjust grayscale image magazine ad it's hard when colors viewing cmyk.   thanks! you should work in srgb so, if possible, go original image, in srgb , work that. the image presumably placed in indesign text added.   it's best publisher / designer / printer conversion cmyk. is possible extract stretch of pdf (pages x-y) , preserve associated bookmarks? "extract" not (bookmarks lost). i've seen references "splitting" not option mac ("split" merely creates doubled window vertically).    tried printing selection , saving pdf, that's not allowed.   can be? impossible do? tx i think found it:   you delete pages before , after desired selected page range (assuming it's continuous range, me). delete old bookmarks associated extraneous material. what's left desired result. hi guys,   i've been struggling jpeg 5760 x 3840 sequences in 1920 x 1080 timeline. when drag imported image sequence timeline, creates complete flicker of lines , discolouration on clip. doesn't seem appear when reviewing clip in browser. i've tried assemble in ae , export h.264, avi, native dimensions, once imported premiere same thing. i'm not sure if interlaced / frame rate issue, happens other 4000 x 3000, 25fps video footage well, shot dji osmo.   sequence settings - 1920 x 1080, 25p    any appreciated!   try reducing dimension before bringing pr. i have mp4 video in captivate. "menu" screen says "play" jumps slide , plays entire video. need insert on menu page "part 1" , "part 2" user can jump chapter points in video. i'm not seeing simple way this. i'm not seeing action scripts this.   my thought process @ each "part", video pauses , "continue" button comes up. if user watching entire video, can select continue. if user had selected "part 1" get-go, maybe action script pointed "continue" button @ spot? not sure how make button point button.   bottom line...i'd mimic "chapter points" in menu can point parts of video (the video on 1 slide, , imported multi-slide sync.)   any appreciated!! guys! easiest way cut video in many clips want have chapters, , put each clip on slide. makes jumping alot asier. continue button possible, go next slide.   btw: actionscript cannot used directly in captivate. can use javascript or create adv

i have project in captivate 9 in i'm using glossary interaction. works great in preview, however, once published, either html5 or swf, glossary not appear. close button placed above appear , resumes playback upon clicking.   i have tried placing glossary on first, second , last slides of project no avail.   thank help.       update: turns out term title in header long of items. truncating them fixed issue. another potential tripping point copying , pasting text ms word, bring invisible characters along visible text.   this affects glossary interaction, quiz questions , regular slide content, such captions, anywhere else in captivate.         More discussions in Adobe Captivate adobe

is possible correctly simulate click-and-drag highlight interaction on captivate simulation?  i'm working in excel , want students highlight 2 columns clicking , dragging mouse.  place click box on both column headers work when released mouse, when they're in process of highlighting columns, students won't experience actual interaction (where columns highlight drag across).  2 columns, isn't huge deal, there more interactions later on in development of course require more highlights 2 columns , i'd able simulate actual interaction closely possible.   thanks in advance guys/gals can provide! i'm thinking need javascript need evaluate 2 events @ same time. work html5.   if using swf need create swf animation or widget. partway through laying out magazine, page 6 sort of disappeared - pages panel says it's there empty (although there content), page numbering still counts it, content considered on pasteboard - see below. since latest update acrobat, acrobat spends long time loading before file gets sent print. workable when printing 1 copy, when try print 2 copies takes twice long load. more copies send printer, exponentially slower takes, more 3 or copies, end having force quit acrobat.   i've tried switching printers , drivers, nothing helps. can print fine preview or native software, not acrobat. i'm running os x el capitan (version 10.11.5), , latest version of acrobat. i have used crop function windows vista thru windows 8.1 no problems, in windows 10 can not crop function work. select image out of photo, go image, select crop, nothing happens. surrounding areas still there? are pressing return key or green check mark shown in picture?     you need click on green check mark or press return/enter key.  alternatively, use crop tool toolbar.  looks this:     hope helps. whats guys.   i know there couple of similar problems , solutions out there already, none of these fix mine.   i created menu encore cs6. have main menu, can choose between 4 buttons. 2 of them lead menu. , 1 of these 2, 1 lead to menu. in all, 4 menus. created of these buttons same way. used square shapes , converted them buttons. (i created menu layout in after effects, since has video loop , buttons thin white line on top of texts).   everything looks in encore , in preview mode. buttons showing. when build dvd image , save computer, works fine. now when build dvd disc , burn clean disc, buttons showing except 1 menu out of four. of them working fine 1 doesn't.   i tried multiple things, editing menus in photoshop, save them different name, deleting other, cleaning out cache, reimporting new saved psds, nothing work , loosing it.   just information, i'm using windows 7.   hopefully guys can save me since project needs done quite shortly. thanks in advance! please post scre

pe 9 crashing message of low memory.  i've cleaned many media cache files can find , have upped virtual memory.  still same message.  when open file pe 9 still indexes files months ago have never been part of current project.  when check system, abode premiere elements exe.32 consuming on 3 gb of ram.  way fix this?  reduce memory usage? it depends on source video. premiere elements 9 can work pretty tape-based minidv , hdv only. has support avchd, not solid support later versions of program. there's virtually no support mp4s , non-camcorder video.   do render timeline (press enter) whenever see red line above clips on timeline?   have optimized photos use in project no larger 1000x750 pixels in size (or 2000x1500 high-def)?   for it's worth, later versions of program (post version 12) not support wider range of video sources 64-bit applications, allowing take advantage of greater amounts of ram  on 64-bit systems. i have existing form has page needs duplicated on needed basis.  instance 1 person have enough info fill 1 page, person may have enough info requires 6 more pages added.  create button @ bottom of page user can push inserts additional pages can filled out , saved in document. best way in newest version of acrobat? you'll need make page needs repeated template , use javascript add additional pages when needed. technique work desktop versions of reader 11 , later. won't work mobile versions. won't work reader versions prior 11 (unless reader-enabled livecycle reader-extensions $$$$). if can't find more information on templates , spawning them javascript, post again. i installed acrobat xi standard on brand new hp pavilion 27-a010 (all in one) ms windows 10.   core i7 processor 12 gb of ram.   there 1 thing doesn't work far - important feature:  when right-click on web page , click on "print,"  box comes it's going print, hangs , never print.   (i direct acrobat save page on c drive.)   i suspect has either windows 10 or ms office pro 2016; have set defaults in office acrobat xi program, , don't see obvious setting issues.   of course, have missed something.   ideas?   thanks bunch, rocky   "if out you, it's not paranoia." hi forum,   i have annoying issue premiere cs 5.5. can not alt+drag copy clips in windows 7. while doing focus not laid on menus though. moves clip creating no copy. when press alt, focus changed menus (e.g. when zooming mousewheel) unacceptable honest. have no experience windows , premiere, coming mac, drives me crazy. stumbled upon hint autohotkey fix, have no clue on how use , whether or not allowed install on machine here. nevertheless whatsoever highly appreciated.   is alt issue common thing windows?   many thanks   valentin just in case stumbles upon issue and/or thread: the alt issue not fixed. must have been messed in registry, don't know honest. working cc on new machine , problem not there anymore (lucky me). hello,   i on budget (less $1000) , think need upgrade computer system can use photoshop (and lightroom) without worrying freeze ups. computer systems follows:   computer: hewlett-packard model:  500-424 type:  x64-based os: microsoft windows 10 processor: amd a8-6410 apu amd radeon r5 graphics, 2000 mhz, 4 core(s), 4 logical processor(s) installed physical memory:    (ram) 16.0 gb total physical memory:         14.9 gb available physical memory:     11.5 gb total virtual memory:          15.3 gb available virtual memory       11.4 gb 1 tb internal storage + 1 tb external drive   with above system have been experiencing photoshop (and lightroom) freezing/lagging problems , beginning think need faster processor , better graphics card system.   i'm not sure how more detail can provide i'll try: had ps open other day watching , following along ps youtube tutorial. don't remember doing @ time, think using magic wand tool , learning how make selections. ps froze , got pop-up win
