A roblem

hi, need batch process on hundreds of folders. each folder containing wmv file , several jpg's. i want batch jpg's without wmv files photoshop insist on opening wmv files, results in error during batch. if "log errors file" in order batch continue , not stop on error – photoshop getting stuck after opening several wmv's. extracting wmv's folders not option because daunting task place each video in corresponding folder. i used photoshop cs3 before because didn't opened wmv files, can't anymore , need use new updated cc…   any idea how prevent photoshop opening wmv during batch process? thanks! use 1 of available image processor scripts. skip image files fed them.   menu file>scripts>image processor...   if download , install image processor  pro plug-in  script have   menu file>automate>image processor pro...   these scripts can user adobe bridge can select image files want process.   More discussions in Photoshop adobe

i hope can help, trying find location or source able download media encoder software 1 of departments. used have adobe creative suite 6 master collection, had applications need, after had upgraded adobe creative cloud, reporting no longer have media encoder, encoder flash media customers wants.   i understand there management tool allows download historical applications, problem site behind government firewall , can't download through wall.   so question is.  there way can install media encoder application or there location can download application. if download premiere pro or after effects, ame automatically downloaded. honestly, found story, apparently late party.  i'm disgruntled final draft user since v4-v9 , updates laughable (only updated once, thank god).  they're far behind curve, yet, they're still industry standard out of habit, not out of having best product.  i've contacted them 3 years asking "when" browser-based, or @ least offer software or additional tack-on fee.  got was, "sorry, that's not in plans."  what!?  contacted them couple days ago asking same thing, inspired write while on lunch break, but, couldn't open cloud-based scripts because don't have fd installed on work computer, home one.    i used try use celtx well, while on go, it's clunky, not 'fun', , not intuitive; way clicking around , there still bugs... , can't export .fdx document.  however, discovered adobe story , holy crap - uh-mazing.  same thing final draft, it's browser-based (thank you), it's intuitive character/action, etc.  essential things w

when document ocr'd, acrobat dc places paragraphs -- or appears paragraphs -- in each own bounding box. i love feature has been added, makes easier export web design project. however, issue having making work harder rather making easier new feature.   when click vector object , collect export, exports beautifully no problem. when clicking object/image inside of clipping mask, when exported has large amount of blank space on 4 sides of object.  don't know if glitch, or if not feature meant for, struggle use when majority of export not usable way.   i have been resorting saving web using before, , exporting screens more time consuming want. is there collect export feature, belive mean export screens.   yes clipping masks annoying. best advice can offer. 1) change artboard size selected art 2) when doing export selection choose dartboards tab   then undo original artboard size back. hi,   i have few issues setting bleed document. final product 202x289mm page since start standard a4 format (210x297mm) , cut 4mm each side. therefore chose in document setup page size of 202x289mm , bleed of 4mm on each side. however, when exporting, instead of getting 210x297mm document ((202+8mm bleed) x (289+8mm bleed)) somehow document large, dimensions of 212,58x299,58mm. export settings following: and here's example page out of export showing dimensions: when zooming in on corner can see tiny white border of 1,29mm added each side of page:   first question: how can rid of additional white border , document 210x297mm want?   second question: how can make cut line plain black, without white stroke around it?   finally, have issue images touching inner side of facing page. bleed of these images shows on inner side of page of opposite side not on inner side of page actual image placed. here's how page looks in indesign: and here's how looks after exporting:   third quest

having little problem in exporting sequences premire through media encoder. audio edits not render should... cuts out of sync. the sequence has 20 short pretty simple of after effects linked comps. seems problem in 15.3 release. still running el capitan 10.11.4.  using cc15.2 (ae , pr) getting slow due number of linked comps, 15.3 handled better... getting audio render errors. have read somewhere here adobe recommends upgrade mac osx 10.11.6... can confirm or have positive experience last mac os. cheers. pete   mac pro (late 2013): 3 ghz 8-core intel xeon e5; 32gb ram; dual d700 gpus adobe cc 15.3 (& 15.2 still installed backup) do save testable version of project, try render , replace operation on problem audio clips.  may sync thing. could trying have cake , eat i'm wondering if there's smart object linking option i'm not aware of.   main problem: sharing psds have external linked (cloud/filesystem) smart objects   is there non-destructive (e.g. embed linked) way of either using smart objects external resource (cloud/filesystem), or otherwise use it's own internal embedded version if unavailable?   the file size entirely irrelevant me. relevant keeping linking intact without re/de-linking bunch of layers or other batch of steps this. in other words, hope there's checkbox somewhere states "keep embedded backup" on smart objects haven't found yet.   strategies (cloud sharing dozens of libraries/permissions getting old too)? similar illustrator , indesign can embed or can link can't both.   i see 3 options when sharing ps file:   1. package file.  that's industry standard illustrator , indesign.  why not make standard photoshop? 2. embed linked so's before sending. 3.  n

i got weirdest challenge. i webdevelopment , webdesign stuff. , use dreamweaver many years many reasons, since has wysiwyg-feature me work more ease. aargh! new , appreciate advice. we have created lovely `look book` on photoshop every time amend (not add edit) eg other markets, saved file gets bigger , bigger. first saved pse became 5.5mg pdf, latest pdf save 33mg no information or images. making simple mistake on editing , / or saving??? if want edit images (what kind of editing doing, way?) it's better idea go ps, edit them there , generate new pdf files them, instead of trying edit them directly in acrobat. hi, i've been searching days understand drive suitable each task. i own imac 2011 12gb ram , 500gb (7200 rpm) hard drive , 2 external hard drives. 1 of them hdd 1tb usb3 interface imac doesn't support usb3 has speed of usb2. other 1 hdd 500gb firewire interface.   i want color correct short film, footage apple prores hq data rate around 320 mb/s , total size 45 gb. found using aja datacalc application. system slow job i'm trying figure out way make happen. from found on internet, ssd drive make difference. don't know if it'd better buy external ssd thunderbolt interface or add internally ssd keeping original hard drive of imac.   but important of all, don't know how use these drives. , mean basic level. should example: -add internal ssd , use boot drive, it'll run programs guess -use internal hdd keeping media , project files -use external hdd firewire cache -and external hdd usb2 exports   ???   also, minimum size ssd in case? guess it's 256gb maybe nee

i have 5 second composition used in 10 different ae projects. how update composition without opening each ae project file? do have change composition , re-import each ae project file? i believe short answer there no way update composition without opening each project file , replace composition manually.   my workflow this: 1. open project , reduce project of composition 2. make change , save file composition project file 3. open project file , import composition, , in project window drag alt key pressed new comp on top of old comp. 4. repeat step 3 x 9 times   if need setup situation in future when know need dynamic change in composition inside, , don't want use method above, can use rendered video file in projects, , use project composition , render folder each project takes footage from. i making pages adjunct major section of web site. made 1 page , worked out okay. when try make subsequent pages whole thing doesn't work the body tag stays wrapped around art piece in center instead of including 1,000px wide center piece. have done 2 or 3 pages , wind same.   help! open working page, run through validation (window > results > validation panel).  fix reported errors. save document. saveas new filename.html for best results, save new file in same directory original file.     nancy o. hello community. my ps cs6 64bit (+win7pro64bit) doesn´t work anymore. first can see logo of cs6 , after there 2 error massages: (i tranlate german). could not load actions,because eof(end of file) has happend. could not initialize ps, because setting file invalid(is deleted). i deinstalled , installed few times. the installation working , serial accepted online adobe. and @ end says: installation successfull- can use programm. but when try open, there  these 2 errors. i hope experts can me in case. thank much. oliver roth vienna hi oliver vienna,   try deleting photoshop preferences file, may corrupted. if photoshop open, quit program. hold down shift+ctrl+alt, , restart photoshop. dialog box should pop asking if want delete existing preferences file. click yes. new 1 automatically created.   alternatively, can try deleting preferences manually. link has instructions (it's cs5, same procedure should apply): http://www.fixkb.com/2011/05/could-not-initialize-photoshop-because.html

hi,   i tried searching may wording incorrectly.   when im in lr , process image lr automatically makes copy of processed image creating 2 images original , processed version. in upper left hand corner of each photo displayed 1 of 2,  2 of 2.  if export processed image ps additional pp lr adjustments , save in ps , bring lr 3rd image displayed labeled  3 of 3.  if decide additional processing in ps @ later date or use plugin such topaz or nik 4th image labeled 4 of 4.    my question is.   is there way in lr  export  image ps or 3rd party software , bring lr without lr creating numerous copies?  becomes confusing after while , doesn't contribute efficient work flow.   thank you   jim brennan if working raw images, photoshop must create new copy of image , return copy lightroom. neither photoshop nor nik tools have capability edit raw image data. image converted during transfer lightroom these other programs, , requires creation of new image when finish editing.   when work raw ima

i'm laying out book , using several different text boxes aren't linked. several text boxes have footnotes footnote numbering starts on in each new text box. though footnote may first in text box, it's actually, say, 6th in book. want superscript number of footnote read "6" not "1."   is there way change individual footnote numbers?   thanks! is there reason can't use threaded frames? chances can format layout way want , still have threaded frames numbers  increment correctly.
