Crashing on Actions getting worse over the years

ever since mac os x have had problems actions sporadically crashing, lately worse , setting 1 second playback tho help. inserting stops helping me understand problem areas exist, mid in research on this. has else experienced crashing while running actions, or have ideas change avoid crashes.

 

for releasing final artwork printer, below action (stops there in research likes crash). lately have fixed our massive font library not have check fonts loaded prior release turned part off.

this lengthy one, remaps old type 1 fonts technology newer fonts have less technical issues. this  gets slow if set playback 1 second in between each step.

all simple actions used dozens time day, , me out of work earlier if can them run stable. help!

 

under mac os9 these actions worked 100% of time.

 

running yosemite, , have installed current 

  • default folder x
  • xtrafiinder
  • utc type client

yes, have actions set-up use when batch-converting ai files pdfs.

 

i leave batch process running , crash @ point during process. can after 1 file has been saved - or 5 - or 7. there no consistency between crashes.

 

i have had lot of crashes when opening or saving files. version of illustrator pretty unstable imo.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
