cs4 doesn't recognize .dng files

i converted file .dng went open in cs4 , greeted with, "could not complete request because photoshop not recognize type of file."

thinking might because new .dng file (though thought created equal) tried open 1 came software folder called samples. 1 provoked same message.

so: what's going on , have cs4 open old , new .dng files?

if using newer version of dng converter, need older version of camera raw compatible photoshop cs4.  adobe camera raw 5 comes pscs4. camera raw , dng converter windows download @ http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=ps&platform=win , macintosh @ https://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?platform=macintosh&product=106

Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode?
