View accurate grayscale images in Photoshop.

i'm trying photoshop show grayscale images accurately. solid black looks cmyk rich black. made 2 documents, 1 cmyk rich black , other grayscale 100% black. both same on screen no matter color profiles, soft proof settings, etc. do. 100% black should gray compared rich black. see no "display blacks accurately" setting in indesign. i'm trying adjust grayscale image magazine ad it's hard when colors viewing cmyk.

thanks!

you should work in srgb so, if possible, go original image, in srgb , work that.

the image presumably placed in indesign text added.

it's best publisher / designer / printer conversion cmyk.
