i use quickbooks 2015 premier desktop / windows 10, , have been using qb's layout designer customize our company's invoice.  have switched font generic arial more professional, clean font purchased called engrez.  through customizing process, continually tested of invoice using both print preview , actual prints no issue.  wasn't until used qb's email option - wherein converts invoice pdf - noticed none of font showing.  spent hours on phone first qb's tech support have them pdf conversation process , font not compatible.  since invested lot of time designing new template, we're hoping there's else can done make work.  have ideas??  thanks, jim are using adobe software make pdf? if so, exact product , version it?   you problem emailing. have checked - file looks right on original computer font installed? whenever first save ai files, file size small. however, when create small non-complex vectors (like square), ai saves these files ridiculously large sizes. example, started off ai file @ 300 kb turned 50,563 kb file size. difference between saves simple vector created.   i tried "save as" , unchecking "create pdf compatible file" no avail. file saved still needlessly large. know can create new ai file , use "place" insert artwork, once , save updated work creates ridiculous large file size again. which version? which system? exactly save files? what happens file size when save as?   are there additional brushes or symbols or swatches in file? i've been using after effects cs6 small compositions don't stretch more 5 minutes without dilemma. problem recently, i've been needing edit videos span 30 minutes hour , gets laggy , slow relatively quick. don't try ram preview, because when scrubbing through frames, slow. my specs: intel i7 8-core 3.0 ghz 5960x 16gb g-skill ripjaws ram nvidia geforce 760 graphics card 500gb ssd hard drive , 2 terra bytes of hard disk space.   the videos recorded in 1080p , encoded @ 5000kbps @ 50 fps, , figure specs pretty decent, cpu. when turn quality down quarter, changes nothing. wether or not leave 5 gb or 3gb background applications , dedicate rest ae changes nothing. multi-processing doesn't seem change either. appreciated. well, before elders of tribe eat alive suggesting edit videos in ae (consider fair warning - can critical ) let me ae not intended editing videos. there no realtime playback, each cut has it's own layer making timeline complicated, , no complex edi...

while using ae 13.2 dragged image project panel work area , ae crashed.  no big deal, happens sometimes. the error said dynamic link premier thought weird not use premier , don't have installed.   i went through usual process of saving file under new name before ae stopped (nice feature)  when tried restart ae got error:   "after effects error: crash in progress. last logged message <6680> <ae.blitpipe> <2>. making new context"   i tried opening several thing, different projects...still crash. i tried opening in other newer versions of ae...nope. i tried resetting preference on startup. i tried going appdata folder delete preference manually there on twenty after effects folders in main adobe folder (many unicode markings) i tried rebooting. finally uninstalled versions of ae including preference files , reinstalled 2014 (13.2) , still crashes on startup.   i going go directly adobe support since cannot until tomorrow morning figured posti...

as of morning, cannot do  "save as"  or "send to" files in adobe dc. screen pops , windows icon (the 4 squares in windows 10) display squares intermittently changing color. have done repair , uninstalled reinstalled acrobat, didn't change anything. ideas? hi sihlen ,   could please confirm if using acrobat dc or acrobat reader dc?   also, share exact dot version of application installed on document, can find under menu -> acrobat acrobat/reader dc.   make sure updated latest version, can check updates under menu.   right click on application icon & run administrator check if fixes issue.   also, try this. open acrobat dc -> edit menu -> preferences -> general -> un-check "show online storage when saving files".   let me know how goes.   regards, aadesh  More discussions in Acrobat Reader adobe
