All Versions of AE crashing on startup.

while using ae 13.2 dragged image project panel work area , ae crashed.  no big deal, happens sometimes.

the error said dynamic link premier thought weird not use premier , don't have installed.

 

i went through usual process of saving file under new name before ae stopped (nice feature)  when tried restart ae got error:

 

"after effects error: crash in progress. last logged message <6680> <ae.blitpipe> <2>. making new context"

 

i tried opening several thing, different projects...still crash.

i tried opening in other newer versions of ae...nope.

i tried resetting preference on startup.

i tried going appdata folder delete preference manually there on twenty after effects folders in main adobe folder (many unicode markings)

i tried rebooting.

finally uninstalled versions of ae including preference files , reinstalled 2014 (13.2) , still crashes on startup.

 

i going go directly adobe support since cannot until tomorrow morning figured posting here couldn't hurt.

i'm using windows10.

i've using ae everyday years , did nothing unusual.

i did install couple of camera raw updates yesterday updated 2015 , 2014 using ae 10 minutes

before tried drag image (which used in other places in project , other projects) work area , crash happened.

 

any suggestions appreciated as, first time in 2 years, cannot job.

so update.   managed open after effects double clicking old project file on year ago. (could not open clicking app shortcut).

once did able open project file crashed (pre-crash version) followed same exact steps led crash:

i dragged .ai image bridge project panel.

i dragged .ai file project panel work area.

i enable continuous raster

i hit "s" open scale properties

i dragged scale value , crash happened

(i know in first post said crashed when got dragged timeline mistake.  crashed when tried scale)

the errpr got time was:

<syncservice> <4> check connection: 3

 

so crash happened again ae not start again. same when first posted.

so opened old project again had worked @ top of post.

from there opened current project keeps crashing.

this time followed same exact steps except different .ai file (to try , isolate problem)

with different .ai file there no crash when tried scale.

so went through steps again using .ai file causing crash time no crash.

now normal (except preferences reset).

i can open ae via app shortcut again , working no problem.

weird?

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
