How to "Clone text" (like I did in CorelDraw)?

i switching coreldraw adobe cc , trying learn, , convert have in corel adobe.

 

i have apps, , "think" illustrator correct product use, not sure.

 

in coreldraw have sheet of business cards, (2 columns , 5 down) in clone "master" card other locations on 8 1/2 x 11 sheet prints on adobe business card stock template.

 

that way when need make new cards employee change name, cell # on master card, , automatically updates other cards on sheet.

 

q: illustrator right program use? , if how "clone" text updates other text in document?

it (only) adobe application corresponds coreldraw; others may suggest other applications.

 

onestraightforward way have master copies use effect>distort&transform>transform twice, first move horizontally , 1 copy, move vertically 4 copies (or opposite). way create symbol.

 

 

it may worth considering vertical axis direction: since cs5 (the second last cs version, before cc), y axis reversed positive positive down. possible unreverse , have positive up.

 

to change ruler origin (and direction of y axis) in cs5 - cc(2015) same in cs4 , earlier, may:

 

a) install , run script in op of thread,http://forums.adobe.com/thread/890507?tstart=30

 

or

 

b) manually change relevant preference settings follows:

 

0) close down illy (you can change preference file illy closed);

 

1) find , open aiprefs (win speak) or adobe illustrator prefs (mac speak) file text editor notepad or textedit; preference file (hidden) file in (hidden) folder adobe illustrator cs5/cs6/17/18 (depending on version) settings

 

2): find , change following 2 bits of code:

 

/isrulerorigintopleft 1 >>> /isrulerorigintopleft 0 (change 1 0)

 

/isrulerin4thquad 1 >>> /isrulerin4thquad 0 (change 1 0)

 

this global change have once (just can undo once).

Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop

Illustrator CS6 Ocurrío un error E/S en el archivo.

este error me me sale cada ves que guardo un archivo que ya estado trabajando varias veces, sale cuando ya esta finalizando el proceso de guardar, ya probe cambiar nombre del archivo, ubicación de guardado, convertí curvas las fuentes y sigue saliendo el mismo error, no se que mas hacer, si alguien le ha sucedido y sabe como solucionarlo por favor ayuda. versión exacta (acerca de illustrator) de illustrator? versión sistema operativo?   guardas en el disco duro principal del ordenador o en otro disco, memoria pendrive,...? ese disco que clase de disco, modelo, antiguedad, espacio libre,...?
