Can you prevent an update from changing your files?

we being forced update cloud, concerned because have update software once year.  in past when updated 2 4 , 4 6, found changes in our files, whether text boxes moving, lines shifting, or fonts missing.  different.  because our artwork customer-approved, take months proof every art file have make sure customer approved it.  meant hiring proofreaders job.  obviously, isn't want on yearly basis.  there way prevent files changing?  perhaps not aware of feature in id "freeze" artwork?  our print shop cannot print pdfs, isn't option us.  can offer!

really? can print current version of id? time 21st century printer....

 

can print .indd placed pdf?

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
