Maximum Bit Depth and Maximum Render Quality unnecessary with CUDA?

hey folks,

i don't it. know these 2 options in normal case.

but in special workflow don't know if there difference in result.

i shot on red 5k, graded in davinci exported prores4444, having in premiere in 4k timeline export 4k prores4444 dcp mastering.

when i'm start render maximum render quality on because i'm scaling 5k 4k , maximum bit depth on because of graphics add timeline. red article adobe:

cuda, opencl, mercury playback engine, , adobe premiere pro | creative cloud blog adobe

here understand while exportiing cuda on gpu (i have gtx980 installed), scaling operations work on maximum quality , export on gpu works in 32bpc color. correct?

if not, don't understand prores bit depth settings in case. prores4444 12 bit codec - when export , leave off encode 12bpc, right? under maximum bit depth have 4 options: 24, 36, 48 , 64 bit. think 24 bit 8bpc, 36 12 bpc, 48 12bpc alpha , 64 16bpc.

why should use 24 prores export option? must 64 time or isn't necessary because 12 bit codec anyway?

you're correct on how pp works.

i don't have info on prores issue never use it.  there 12 bit cineform option might work you, though.
