Acrobat DC very slow and unresponsive, spinning beach ball when using interface

since installed acrobat dc, dread opening pdfs unresponsive , slow. everything takes ages. 1 click: several seconds of spinning beach ball, next click: same.

 

the bigger file, slower app. today opened 2.1 mb file 90 pages (business cards, text plus vector based logo, 2c: black , 1 spot colour, no backgrounds) , standard operations such changing display settings, showing thumbnails, rearranging pages and deleting pages took me 15 minutes in contrast 2. cannot work tool a professional basis anymore. :-(

 

i hoped update patch seems there have not been many updates to acrobat dc showing in creative cloud panel. :-(

 

some time ago uninstalled , reinstalled cloud no changes @ all. still slow, still unresponsive performance.

 

i hate new version. first had uninstall old 1 worked fine, instead of being able use both versions other adobe applications. interface had been redesigned yet again. zooming seems way more complicated normal shortcuts in other adobe apps (drawing zoom in window magnifier) don't work anymore.

 

then horrible "optimize reading" message kept popping up, stuck in foreground and prevented changes being saved. (that has changed , ist working though 90s era "optimize reading" window still appears on regular basis.) horrible , nerve-racking.

 

but got worse freezing , spinning beach ball whenever try interact the interface.

 

i searched web not found on issue. there ideas in forum (deleting "read out loud" plugin, deactivating privacy , security settings etc.) no changes.

 

i made acrobat reader pdf default , way faster of course less capable. even better (because less bloated) apple’s preview fast , works instantly the same files.

 

all other adobe apps installed on system work fine (adobe cs6 , latest adobe cc 2015); indesign, photoshop, illustrator, fireworks, muse, bridge.

 

i suspect app tries connect server or kinds of interaction hard drive , therefore slows down immensely. or maybe support or display operations rendering? in activity monitor marked "does not respond".

also, try updating acrobat dc latest version.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
