File doesn't exist
hi,
so downloaded after effects mac(el capitan) , when try launch adobe character animator, in trial mode, error this, "file doesn't exist: /users/<useraccount>/documents/adobe/character animator/preview 4/getting started project [preview 4]/ch data/temp.noindex/compiler/behaviorparambootstrap.js"
i clicked ok noticed in behaviors panel:
when try click small '+' icon, nothing shows up.. tried loading project again going welcome tab , clicking "start here!". loaded project , fixed behaviors, can see dangle, face, lip sync, etc.., got same error above time, it's not looking behaviorparambootstrap javascript file. it's looking "bootstrap.js" file. when try check directory, can see bootstrap.js file there. can't use character animator error prompt every time select in timeline (scene).
i've tried reinstalling ae 3 times, (uninstall, restart machine, install) , still getting same problem.
also, don't think reason because i'm using trial version. i've installed ae (trial version) in pc(windows 7) , character animator working fine.
any thoughts regarding issue? thanks.
paul
does error message literally include <useraccount> in text or did redact that? it's totally fine if did, me message (i recreated similar condition artificially) contains actual username if yours says <useraccount> might clue nature of failure.
thanks,
dan tull
