Can not open NEF in Camera raw

hi,

 

i have trouble opening nef-files in camera raw. have:
windows
nikon d5000

photoshop cs4
camera raw plug-in 5.4 update , 5.7

 

when use adobe bridge sort pictures can open jpg-files inn camera raw, , works, when try open nef-file not option open in camera raw, , can not open in photoshop.  have tries both plug-ins, , have moved files photoshop plug-ins folder. have done without trouble before, after having reinstall photoshop can't. hope of can me, hoping edit wedding pictures soon.

how getting raw files camera computer?

 

some nikon software known corrupt raw files adobe software cannot read them.

 

you can try utility fix them

fix corrupted nikon nef images

 

alternatively, eliminate nikon software workflow. import files camera either via card reader or directly connecting camera computer.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
