Point Controller using ScriptUI

hi again,

 

is there way add button similar usage point controller effect scriptui palette?

i wish allow user select point in comp's viewer , x, y values after interaction -- similar target icon in point controllers of effects.

i saw can pseudo effects... no way using scriptui? or method?

i tried adding point controller effect layer using script , somehow invoking button press on target icon of effect - no success here.

any ideas?

i think adding point controller effect , let script read value option have, if want have visual representation of point in comp viewer. of course, not give live update notifications, when user moves controller, best can do.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
