How to "Save As PNG" by Default?

the latest update adobe illustrator seems have hit on head , suffers memory loss. when bring "save as" window, defaults save format gif.

 

no 1 saves illustrations gif!!

 

i have change format jpeg or png useful formats. every time "save as" window opened, goes gif. not fun! how can default png or force ai remember last choice? thank help!

jpg not useful format illustrator file due compression.

when need file web, png best choice, or svg.

if need print, ai or pdf/x-4 best choice.

 

but save as… not offer gif, jpg or png in illustrator.

png available in export as…, export screens… , save web…

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
