InDesign BOOK PANEL.

i using indesign cc 2015.  have created book panel  documents, ( chapters ) in place. however, each chap remains separate document , though have added page numbers, (1-300 consecutively) , ran sync, each document retains original page numbering in panel, ie, 1-14, 1-23, 1-8 , etc.  have failed do, or did wrong? have researched id user manual, cohen's book , id classroom in book w/o luck.tap dancing on knife edge of deadline. keep simple.  thanks. daril.   

first make sure in indesign preferences>general>page numbering>view set to: section numbering

second, set book page numbering option continue previous document.

third, book panel flyout menu select update numbering>update numbers

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
