Where is my bottleneck?

i able apple allow me return late 2013 macpro after struggling performance issues in premiere pro cc. built new windows 10 machine cash got , excited build pc without holding punches. 

 

here machine built:

 

cpu: intel boxed core i7-6900k processor (20m cache, 3.70 ghz) fc-lga14a 3.2 8 bx80671i76900k

motherboard: asus lga2011-v3 5-way optimization safeslot x99 atx motherboard x99-deluxe ii

gpu: evga geforce gtx 1080 founders edition 8gb gddr5x pci express 3.0 graphics card (08g-p4-6180-kr)

ssd (operating system, program files): samsung 850 pro 512gb 2.5-inch sata iii internal ssd (mz-7ke512bw)

ram: kingston technology hyperx fury black 32 gb kit cl15 dimm ddr4 2400 mt/s internal memory

hdd: seagate 3tb 64mb cache 7200rpm sata iii 6.0gb/s (heavy-duty) 3.5-inch internal hard drive

psu: evga supernova 1000 g2 80+ gold, 1000w modular nvidia sli , crossfire ready power supply

cooler: corsair hydro series h115i extreme performance liquid cpu cooler , black

 

i figured overkill editing 4k. suppose underestimated performance required edit 4k video without proxies or hard drive raid... videographer hates dropping frames, , drop anywhere between 17-80 frames watching 1 1-minute 4k stream. shoot of our footage fs7 using internal xavc-i codec. know little bit of information doesnt tell entire story... hoping our problem obvious enough don't need go further detail...

 

would running project files off of our 3tb hdd @ 7200rpm better option running project files off of our ssd used windows 10 os premiere pro cc program files?

 

would installing premiere pro cc on hdd , running os+project files off of ssd better option?

 

should suck , admit should've built raid array pc?

it better have add sata ssd, use 1 os/apps/cache , other projects/media. if bitrate of media high and/or trying playback multiple layers @ once, there chance 850 pro might not keeping up. can check in windows task manager see drive usage while playing footage in premiere. if think 850 pro slow media , looking @ raid, may want consider 1 of new samsung 960 m.2 drives instead of raid. if drive usage high when premiere closed , computer should idle, can online windows optimize guides disable unnecessary windows , third party background programs , services, including built-in microsoft spyware , tacking functions. windows update re-enable them too, may have frequently.

 

if cpu , drive usage medium low while playing footage in premiere, might software problem premiere , xavc-i codec. there have been lots of problems in past different xavc versions, , i'm not sure if there current xavc problems. can search thru regular premiere forums see if there problems similar yours , possible solutions, 1 xavc ultrahd files playback problem  also, turning off "enable hardware h264 decoding" setting can performance.

 

if find poor playback occurs xavc-i , nothing fixes it, recording format prores or dnxhr, or transcoding media dnxhr or cineform.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
