Help Editing Master Slide - Objects not staying put in filmstrip

hello,

 

i little newer captivate in have edited , created projects else developed template. developing template in captivate 8.01.242 , getting frustrated.

 

in template, using placeholders items need change different slides (e.g. images or titles) , using smartshapes shapes want appear. have lot of layers on slides once have them in right order save, go filmstrip view, , things not layering correctly! example, put placeholder image in background in filmstrip view on top. or text placeholder hidden beneath smart shape.

 

i have tried selecting "master slide objects on top" , things shift, still not in correct order. interestingly, if select, deselect, , reselect option, slide rearrange objects every time.

 

any can provided great! i've searched forums no avail on issue.

i recommend not use captivate's cptl file format create project 'templates'.

 

apart reasons mention in own post, may not aware captivate still has (even in version 9) huge bug cptl templates means if set variables , advanced actions in templates , use them @ all, when developers use template spawn new cptx project files find variables , advanced actions duplicated exact number of times used in template.  in practice creates huge mess cannot fixed.

 

if want see issue in action or replicate yourself, here post made issue time ago (it's been around 3 cp versions now):

duplication issues in adobe captivate cp7 , cp8 templates | infosemantics pty ltd

 

my recommendation in video set cptx way want 'template' work , set file properties read trying use file required save keep changes.  avoids bug described above.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
