PSE 14 won't install

hello,

after couple of days of fiddling can’t install photoshop elements 14.  bought amazon , downloaded them, downloaded trial version see if download problem.  made no difference. installing desktop.rebooted suggested many, many times.

 

i’m running windows 10 ms office 365. chrome. hp desktop amd phenom ii x4 960t processor @ 3 ghz.acpi x64 based pc. 8 gigs ram, 64 bit os. 1280 mb paging file.

 

can’t uninstall control panel because photoshop elements never shows in listing.

no error codes available because file can’t found.

 

i’ve used msconfig, installed administrator, tried compatibility, checked video card update, still can’t install it.  have followed steps in troubleshooting html , still hangs. drives set optimize weekly.

 

i couldn’t find photoshop 9 disks reinstall, ended installing gimp. i’d rather use pse.

 

any suggestions?

i understand concern, have mentioned have tried basic troubleshooting steps, recommend turn off computer firewall , security/anti-virus program temporarily along internet security add-on's installed on browser , try again.

this time download fresh copy of adobe photoshop elements 14 here: download photoshop elements | 14, 13, 12, 11, 10

 

if still fails, kinldy let if installation process completes or not, if not attach screen shot of error message shows up. see, faq: how capture , post screen shot or video?

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
