Can I "export" a synced catalog from Adobe's storage, to use on a new desktop?

hi all,

i lost of files computer, including synced lightroom catalog.  noticed still have access online with online client...and can undo edits, re-crop, etc.!  seems entire edit history stored, if entire catalog available.  can still edit photos on mobile device if catalog still available, edit history , ability re-crop, , of things had expected.  had access tags, flags, , meticulous collection sorting had done.

the catalog "there", online, seems...but there way me on new desktop?  can download catalog file of necessary data files , load on desktop lightroom?  there doesn't seem way export.  don't want export edited jpg's themselves...i'd keep edit history , ability re-crop, etc.; possible?

if downloaded jpeg's , re-added them, i'd lose:

  • edit history
  • original files
  • tags, flags, other metadata
  • extremely meticulous/complex sorting of files in collections take days or weeks re-do.

at point, seems option?

i feel exporting catalog should possible, because of data available online , on mobile device.

is there way can somehow export them web client?  there way can maybe "export" catalog mobile client, has access of cloud data?  if make edit on mobile client, synced web client, well, i'm guessing information there too.  can mobile client export catalog file?

i data.  had sort of assumed syncing adobe here lightroom collection responsible way backup lightroom catalog in case of data loss, , because see catalog online , on mobile, had believed fair assumption

thanks help

justin
