Audio in imported m4v video skips in RAM preview and render, but fine in original footage file

i'm importing .m4v video file after effects project, , audio skips every random other second in both ram preview , output render. however, original .m4v video file plays audio fine when play on own outside of after effects.

 

i using after effects cc 2014 on os x 10.11.6. video file plays fine in quicktime , vlc.

 

any ideas? thanks!

ae doesn't play nicely compressed audio; it's fine, other times isn't.  use different application export audio wav or aiff.  import ae.  turn off speaker icon current audio.  add exported audio comp.  see if works.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
