'File could not be found' message, but can't find new location

i'm getting 'file not found' message set of images imported last night. i've read few posts similar issue suggest clicking '!' icon , finding new file location, there doesn't seem new file location- when search laptop there's no sign of them. they're still visible in lightroom under 'previous import' can't them.

 

i left card reader plugged in overnight , stupidly pulled without ejecting morning- i'm wondering if cause, i've done before , never lost photos imported. in rush morning, erased of images card make room event heading to, if can't recover them they're gone good.

 

edit: noticed- creative cloud used show in finder toolbar section external thing (same icon usb drive, option eject, etc) of morning lumped in others: screen shot 2016-09-10 @ 4.36.42 pm.png. not sure if related.

use operating systems search feature search (yes all) of hard disks 1 of these files, file name. once find it, should able reconnect.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
