'footage is not a recognized format' annoyance

an earlier post - 2013 - illuminated problem.

 

i having issues importing still images time lapse sequence in photoshop , appreciate suggestions!

 

i want create time lapse using sequence of still photographs.  file names sequentially name/numbered.

 

i using motion workspace, , have followed of instructions available.

 

  • create correct sized new document (film & video).
  • create video timeline.
  • set frame rate.
  • choose 'create new video layer file'.
  • point first image in folder images stored.

 

at point, no matter have tried, receive error:

i have same problem , extremely vexing have export via lr6 thousands of images tif files in different folder because; file, new layer file (in ps cc) not recognize jpeg files on photoshop.

 

it recognizes tif files?

 

i have tried stuarts way of using file, place instead of layer, new layer file , although appears work not import files? when try , export video work area stuck @ 0 - 59

 

and yes images renamed , numbered sequentially.

 

i don't understand settings may need changed allow load images. can there in preferences remedy this?

 

my ps cc created mp4 vids tiff files (thousands @ time) exported lr jpegs,  not load jpegs msg:

 

"could not complete new video layer file because footage not recognized format"

if not give answer, come , sure here able give more specific advice.

 

[edit]  have seen other thread bumped.  said, 3 years old, , things different newer versions of photoshop, obvious question is, version using?  if have pre cs6 version, maybe quicktime pro might better.  mentioned motion workspace, guessing have latest version, in case old thread no longer relevant.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
