Custom Brush transparency looks off on certain black background
hi there,
i made custom brush starting analog tools, scanning etc. going photoshop make brush. i'm supposed use corporate colours , brush red , background black (c0 m0 y0 k95).
when paint brush on corporate black (cmyk95) transparent parts of brush orangey , doesn't crisp.
but when paint brush on black has colours values i.e. c40 m40 y40 k100 brush looks how want, crisp , clean.
but can't change corporate colours , don't understand why brush behaves differently on these different blacks. document file set cmyk, same problem occurs in illustrator when export brush-stroke transparency , importing it.
does have solution?
any appreciated. thanks!

if have example 100% magenta , fade softly 100% black in cmyk image there bound part resulting color 50% magenta , 50% black – looks quite different in color space has true black.
you work in cmyk have accept shortcomings.
edit: not mean working in cmyk can not called in cases, subtractive colors , additive colors behave differently.
one manually add trapping (with layer style example) there other problems: desaturated part pushed outwards or mixed color might darker »black« …
