Cannot install Adobe Air on Windows 8

i have tried several times on past year install adobe air on windows 8 system.  process starts, accept terms , click install, , screen pops installation successful; program not installed.  have searched manually , automatically program , installation log, aren't here.  air installs fine on windows 7 machine.  has else seen particular string of events on install?  ideas?

check folder "c:\program files (x86)\common files\adobe air\versions\1.0\resources\"

and see installed files there or not, , if files there try run .air file , let know if face problem.

 

and tell exact steps reproduce this.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
