Unable to use Comment and Highlight tool in Reader DC

comment , highlight icons not functioning on newly downloaded reader dc - how turn on , use?

could please let know operating system installed on computer?

what dot version of reader installed?

do see error message when trying use comment , highlight tools?

is happening specific document or documents?

 

try open , pdf , click on tools , click comment>select highlight text tool , try highlight text.

if doesn't work , try perform following steps:

1- check if there update available reader , launch reader>click on menu>then click check updates.

2 -if installing updates doesn't fix issue , repair reader installation, click on menu >then click repair installation.

3- if step 2 doesn't work , download , run cleaner tool (for windows) here : download adobe reader , acrobat cleaner tool - adobe labs  , restart computer , reinstall reader dc/xi here : adobe - adobe acrobat reader dc distribution  .

 

let know if steps given above worked.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
