Match sequence settings not matching

i've had issue before , have become frustrated reinstalled whole operating system.  issue is, when completing a  movie, go render in media encoder, choose "match sequence settings" accurate output. exports mpeg file audio no video.  i'm forced export h.264 resulting in lower quality video. codecs present , import both .mov , mp4 files.  prefer export .mp4     computer specs:

your sequence's preview file format must set "i-frame mpeg".  have tried switching better matches type of file you'd have after exporting?  sequence settings based around settings editing, i'm not sure you'll find in there that's mp4 based (and such, result in mp4 if enable "match sequence settings").

maybe switch sequence settings result in mxf files higher quality exports?

as far getting audio concerned, unexpected least.

is "export video" checked after enable "match sequence settings"?
