Shape layer bug -- stroke disappearing

hello all,

 

i'm running strange bug while using pen tool create new shape layers project i'm working on.

 

i'm using pen tool create new shape layer, using "stroke" command create outline on shape that's different color "fill" color.

 

i'm noticing when turn layer "on" , "off", "stroke" set different color disappearing (as if "stroke" set "no color", despite i'm seeing in toolbar -- "stroke" still set color chose).

 

the way "stroke" color want go in , set both "fill" , "stroke" "no color", going , picking color again -- display correctly.

 

but when move layers around (or turn on , off), of shape layers have set "stroke" once again show "stroke" having "no color" (although of course still do).

 

it's not consistent, , should point out particular piece of artwork has lots , lots of shape layers.

 

i've tried restarting computer, , problem still reoccurring, hoping additional troubleshooting tips forum, , i'd see if has run issue well. happy answer questions, 1 has me puzzled.

 

i'm running photoshop cc 2015.5.1 on mid 2010 mac pro (v10.11.6) 2x2.66 ghz processors , 64 gb memory.

i did come across strange behaviour yesterday, stroke not showing.  ended increasing stroke size until see it, , took wanted , started working ok.  thought workflow rather bug, i'll try , replicate it.

 

i on windows 10, not os related.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
