Shockwave Flash (v.23.0.ri) crashes on Firefox

my mac os 10.9.5 , have regularly occurring problem shockwave flash (v.23.0.ri) crashing on firefox. load different videos on separate windows or tabs @ same time. while, each play , spinning beach ball appears , paralyzes firefox. cannot out of application select finder or  else. escape must jump alternate desktop. go activity monitor , quit offending shockwave routine, unlocking firefox , causing of loaded videos need refreshing. no problem using safari.

 

any ideas?

hmm.  doesn't 1 of our version numbers, little concerning.

 

if right-click on flash content, should context menu shows full version number.  should 23.0.0.xxx.

 

i'm not aware of new widespread hang in flash player on mac.

 

a couple things me track down:

- if happens consistently, discrete set of steps reproduces it

- type about:crashes in firefox address bar, , corresponding timestamp hang encountered.

     - click link submit mozilla's crash analysis system, give me link resulting page.

     - (you don't need wait processing complete.  once you've clicked link, firefox handle in background.)
