createjs/Animate CC: lose functionality upon publishing

i've been working in flash 20 years, actionscript since various versions introduced.  i'm working on first html5 project in adobe animate cc canvas, javascript.

the job involves mouse clicks, timeline code , loading children library via arrays.  when test thing in animate, functions want to.  when it's published, goes haywire; click events ignored, some this.stop() calls on timeline skipped, children loaded out of sequence.  had uploaded earlier version of , worked fine.

i'm stumped, , wonder if can point out i'm doing wrong.  files can downloaded @ http://www.e-nimation.com/dev/oddball_game.zip.  many thanks.

the way have done things means work when played server. still mean can test animate, if want test outside of animate need put files online somewhere.

it's shame can't choose odd ball until delay, highlighting of each ball, made testing bit slower!

after few rounds, 'set' array empty. use browser's debug tools try figure out why empty.

something can page loading find line in html:

var loader = new createjs.loadqueue(false);

and add line after it:

loader.setmaxconnections(6);

the page load 6 times faster.
