Premiere Pro cc 2015.4 freezing on AVCHD import

i upgraded cs6 cc2015

 

version 10.9.6

2 x 2.66 ghz quad-core intel xeon

16 gb 1066 mhz ddr3

 

after importing 3rd batch of avchd .mts vid project via media browser, keep getting perpetual pinwheel of death. have project on local hard drive os , cache on second drive. set memory 12gb devoted premiere , 4 other applications.

 

should revert older copy of premiere, upgrade os, encode before importing premiere, etc?

 

any appreciated.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
