Insufficient data for an image

when our company has emailed pdfs our customers many have stated unable view them. have tested , have seen able seen in preview box within windows explorer, not seen in acrobat. when attempt open them in acrobat receive message states "insufficient data image." program not allow entirety of pdf viewed, nor allow printed.

how these pdf's being created? software being used create them? version of reader/acrobat using open them?

 

there issue older version of reader (pre-xi believe) fixed release of reader xi , beyond. other that, of time i've seen because pdf's created third party tool , either corrupt of not compliant.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
