Preview Video almost half speed?

when use spacebar preview video, playback playing video in window @ seems 50% of regular speed. fps still set 59.94, think play @ original speed of video. however, it's not. can me this? in advance!

after effects compositing program, meant handling dozens hundreds thousands of layers. real time playback not designed for, nor great @ it.

 

the previewing behavior changed spacebar plays timeline non-after effects user expect. however, more effects have, slower go. if can't real time playback there number of things can do.

 

for starters, check you're not previewing resolution higher need to. in attached screenshot have 1080p sequence i'm viewing @ 50%. in case don't need previewing 2 million pixels can see under right arrow i'm previewing @ half resolution. parentheses around word "half" mean i'm set auto. great because change resolution based on comp preview size (50%). careful though, on 50%, such 53%, switch preview resolution full.

so, have out of way need cache timeline. in day (which believe last year) called ram preview. cache frames ram play them in real time. after effects loves , needs ram. terminology has changed, preview panel has gotten a couple major overhauls , we're calling them previews these days (i think). anyway, open panel window>preview , poke around. said, spacebar set play timeline, if machine has trouble need alter behavior. old ram preview shortcut 0 on numpad. have set cache work area before playback starts. means have check little box says "cache before playback" , pick other settings want. there's whole lot going on in panel, you're better off reading here: preview without rendering in after effects

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
