MacOS Sierra / Acrobat Reader Update Error 1042

i updated system macos sierra 10.12 pb3 testing , adobe reader has been acting weird ever since.  getting error (that used appear before) regarding error 1042 connecting adobe update server when checking updates.   can no longer check or receive updates.

 

has else noticed error? 

 

has been able work around it?

 

is adobe aware of it?

please try perform steps given in link: resolve error 1402 or error 1406 when installing acrobat or reader

 

let know results.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
