Transcoding Prores in Media Encoder cc & PPro cc problem.

hi all

 

this first time on forum strange problem have not been able find cure elsewhere. hoping of might know or have experience of similar problems. in case, appreciated.

 

i using hp z620 workstation pc windows10

intel xeon cpu e5-2620 @ 2ghz (2 processors)

memory 48 gb

64 bit

k5000 nvidea graphic card

8tb data disk

premier pro cc 10.4.0 (30) build

media encoder 10.4.0.26

 

problem i'm experiencing using prores has come strange problems.

 

1. using various prores video files in project can watch, play, edit without problem uses lot of processing

 

2. decided transcode prores gopro cineform yuv 10-bit process , hit wall: regardless of specific file (all working fine on timeline) process stops 35% in (usually in same place), processors hit 100%, nothing happens stuck. system not report crash , looks normal until cancel hit when system halts , trying close window reports crash. when premier closed down, processors still show 100% usage, used premier pro seen in task bar , stays 100% until 'end task' activated in task bar.

 

3. same problems occur using media encoder , first came across it, tried through premier in case.

 

4. getting curious, thought problem maybe transcoding gopro , tried various other codecs same thing happens, in different place.

 

5. have no problems transcoding other codecs.

 

6. investigating further, problem have discovered that, start viewing prores file in timeline, task manager shows processor usage shoot 100% (which doesn't happen on other codecs) , when not playing timeline or looking @ sequence, processor stays @ 100%. nothing crashes hence project can used processors stay @ 100% when premier shut down (and without reporting problem). going task manager still shows premier using 100% of processors (even though pp shut down) , when 'end task' activated, processors return normal.

 

i hope have described problem in way can make suggestions why happening. 1 editor friend suggested bug prores , advised ask forum.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
