Adobe Bridge CC 2015 Crashing on Mac OSX 10.11.6 with dual monitors setup

hello forum members,

 

since many members have been posting issues regarding adobe bridge cc 2015 crashing on mac osx 10.11.6, creating document providing workaround , reason why issue still persists on el capitan.

 

if using adobe bridge cc 2015 on dual monitor setup , crashes during launch or browsing folders, please try check crash thread mentioned in crash report.

we not expecting our customers analyze crash reports, if @ highlighted keywords in identifying issue , act accordingly. if crash thread consists of keywords highlighted above, please try workaround mentioned below.

 

workaround: click on apple icon , choose system preferences. click on mission control , uncheck option "displays have separate spaces". restart the                          machine , try launch bridge cc 2015 again , check if issue persists. please refer below article more information.

i understand workaround , not solution , might impact workflow, of not have other solution.

 

many of have asked question, why has issue still not resolved on mac os 10.11.

 

as have investigated far, issue specific mac osx 10.11.6; upgrade available on 18th july.

 

while our testing on mac osx 10.11.6 beta, issue not replicable.

 

we working towards fix , appreciate patience.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
