Optimum Disk Setup - Two M.2 Hard drives, 8TB external Raid 0, 1 HDD, 3 SSDS ?

greetings adobe family! 

 

i have been using cloud year , have upgraded specs on system , looking advice on optimal performance these new super fast disks on market!

here's have going on right now:

the read speed on new toshiba-rd400 faster samsung ssd 950 pro has slower write speed when tested crystal disk speed on 32gb file test.  have folder structure project files follows:

project

     footage

     graphics

     project files

     audio

     drafts

     completed files

 

i in progress of moving on contents of drive external keep empty , figure out next.  speed on 950 , toshiba amazingly fast, wanted know if set these disks more optimum performance usage adobe after effects, , premiere pro.  don't keep projects have finished locally, move them 8tb raid-0 , things care backup on cloud.  know need more robust backup solution eventually, don't move external anymore, plan on keeping in 1 place.

 

i have crystal disk tester, if expert here wants let me know nitty gritty details on testing disks , setting power-user setup have great!

my system specs are:
i7-6700k 4.00 ghz 4 cores 8 logical processors

64gb ram

9gb page file - c:\pagefile.sys

 

asus mobo - z170-ar

 

strix gtx970 series nvidia graphics card 4gb

there several ways configure drives, depend on how capacity need each function. letting windows control pagefile works fine. if trying save space on limited size ssd, might give @ least 16gb.

 

a setup focusing on m.2 drives:

toshiba-rd400 =     os/apps/pictures/documents/music

       (if more space needed pictures/documents/music can store on drive)

samsung 950 pro =  cache/projects/media

     (if more space needed cache, use ssd ocz-trion100 cache)

g-raid 2xhgst =       storage & backups os drive image backup & completed projects etc....

 

another setup focusing on separate faster smaller scratch drive , possibly larger os/app drive:

sandisk 240g or ocz-trion100 = os/apps/pictures/documents/music

toshiba-rd400 =    cache

samsung 950 pro = projects/media

g-raid 2xhgst =      storage & backups os drive image backup & completed projects etc....

 

since g-raid 2x4tb backups , storage try avoid raid. if need 8tb of space, can manually place data whichever drive want or has free space. if can manage 4tb can place copy of data on both drives or use raid-1 mirror. raid-1 handy adds layer of risk, doing manually keep data more isolated.

 

ocz had reputation of high failure rates in pc parts. happened ram , continued switched ssd's. ocz has been purchased toshiba, if of previous ocz staff involved in new drive design calls question toshiba/ocz drives.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
