Possible to recover Indesign files after a crash?

indesign crashed , when re-opened it, gives me older versions of files did save. i've lost hours of work. there way recover more recent versions of files before crash??? help! i'm on deadline. not good!

note: not system crash, program crash. i'm on mac os 10.10.5, indesign version cc. also, i'm sure had saved file , yet upon re-starting, have 3.5 hours old version. i've never had happen. i'm hoping can recover file don't know look?

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
