Multiwindow crash and fix suggestion

dear adobe android team. have feature suggestion think build value in app consumers, should minimal work on side. resolve reproducible crash explained in paragraph 3.

 

you stated in patch log app officially supports multiwindow. that's great, better if allowed multiple instances of app run in windows. whether in splitscreen, via freeform windows, or on chromebooks nice if open each pdf in it's own android "activity", allowing them run side side.


 

currently if force 2 activities of adobe reader open , try open pdfs in them crashes. example, user trying use "parallel windows nougat" encounter crash app. i'd assume because tries use same scratch files both activities, though haven't debugged far. opening activities works fine. , work if open pdf in either 1 of them, crash if open pdf in both.

 

 

just fixing , making activity safe add lot of value power users while helping prevent random crashes of app normal users.

 

if wouldn't more work however, maybe add option automatically open each pdf separate instance. allow switching between recent pdfs in android overview (since each it's own activity stay loaded long memory available , gracefully unload when it's memory needed), natively supporting both split screen, freeform multiwindow, , believe chromebooks. add level of value normal users in addition earlier benefits.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
