select and mask problems

hi guys having huge difficulty using new select , mask in latest update. refine edge tool used time extract subject , place them on new background. new select , mask , especailly  refine edge brush seems removing parts of image not using brush , making impossible mask hair?? hugely appreciated have stack of work needs finishing!! seem not able make selection before finding hugely frustrating, have link screen capture show happening video  shows how using refine edge tool deselecting other parts of image. dropbox - select mask issues.mp4

i have been experiencing same problem since installing  macos sierra other day. refine edge tool seems useless.

i using trackpad on macbook pro 13 inch, 2015.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
