Controlling symbol timelines


hi all,

 

in canvas fla-file i'm having strange problem while trying control timeline of symbol on stage.

 

the symbol has this.stop(); command on frame 0, timeline wont run unless tell to. place symbol few frames main timeline, , when animation reach frame see symbol stopped @ frame 0 of own timeline. great!

 

now if rewind animation , run second time, symbol begin playing own timeline , ignore this.stop(); command on own frame 0.

surely must bug, right? or doing wrong?

you're doing wrong.

 

to start, 'rewinding' mean you're directing main timeline frame 0.  re-execute code created on frame 0 doubling listeners etc.

 

to confirm, log listener calls etc made.
