Why can I not open a pdf without having to save it first?

hello all, have been searching weeks , still can not figure out. have pc, windows 10, adobe reader, , using edge browser. reason every time open pdf.; gives me option "save", "save as", , "cancel". used give me option "open" first want. don't want have download view it. i'd able open don't have delete unwanted files have opened , don't want save. how correct this? please explain in layman's terms not coder. in advance!

edge not support adobe reader plugins. (edge can open pdfs, has nothing adobe reader.) can open pdfs using adobe reader plugins in internet explorer or firefox.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
