Slide transition - slide waits for a fastforwarded video to catch up

good afternoon.

 

i have captivate project 5 slides, each containing mp4 video file lasts 3-4 minutes. have videos set auto play, , navigation bar assigned them.  have slide duration set same duration video (which think problem).

 

the videos providing training people on how use software, i'm expecting bit of reply , fast forward people watching.

 

when play presentation, can choose fast forward video. if end of video before duration set slide, slide 'hangs', , waits until slide duration complete, before allowing presentation continue transitioning.

 

also, if spend long going backwards , forwards within video, , longer slide duration, can hear next slides start play. though can't see them. once slide move on, skips whatever has been playing in background.

 

any recommendations on best settings allow users spend time rewinding, pausing , fastforwarding within slide?

if you've set these event videos own player skin, not linked slide timeline , doesn't need same length video.  have slide timeline paused next button allows learner play around video skin controls doing whatever want , move on next slide when ready clicking next button on screen.

 

if insert video multi-slide synchronised video, linked slide timeline , controls on project playbar (if have one) should able control playback of video.

 

personally, never use fastforward button.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
