Using Image Folder One Level Above Project Folder

hello all,

 

i've inherited robohelp html projects tech writer has moved on , unavailable me.

 

the online projects translated in many 20 languages images not translated. under current process zip source files , submit them various translators, , receive translates in zip files. submit, example, 20 zip files dev teams, , forced include 20 web folders in builds, , makes lot of processing time, webhelp has several hundred topics , equal amount of images.

 

i took smallest of webhelps (connect) , placed images in image folder in following source file structure:

english

     !ssl!

          webhelp

          images

images

 

this can result in following sample structure zip in 1 folder send dev team:

english webhelp

spanish webhelp

french webhelp

images

 

connect worked fine. updated file references in topic files, , compiled fine.

 

i tried process on image source files. unfortunately encountered serious problem. moved images folder @ same level project folder , in html files, changed image reference in html code, had done connect. unfortunately, in image, robohelp saves image in project root folder.

 

i've checked , online boards, cannot find discussions on problem. can explain me settings can make robohelp use images in folder determine?

i understand need in own case, issue robohelp perspective, "project" "the universe" far robohelp goes.

 

as have seen first hand, *can* substitute path images outside project. when this, encounter dialog advising link image outside project path , not shown. (drawing memory here)

 

there may check box allows preventing dialog appearing again. , if working way, should enable placing check mark there. way won't bug when open project.

 

i might think encounter following side effect. path outside of robohelp project, images may not appear in editor. confusing work.

 

just rambling bit here, i'm wondering if answer might structure projects each of them has 2 folders @ root. images folder , main content folder. images folder same. each project topics correctly point same images folder. i'd have experiment see if work.

 

anyhoo, thoughts. perhaps others offer better ideas... rick

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Sudden Missing Sequence Presets

can tell me why cannot open of premiere saves? when try open them, following message: "this project contained sequence not opened. no sequence preview preset file or codec associated sequence type." archived projects last year won't open, , neither current projects. googled problem , came across few solutions, involving downloading pc files someone's private server. can't because 1) i'm on government device, , 2) device mac.   does in way connect fact i'm using enterprise version has never been updated since installed last september– not once– local administrator?   [moved generic cloud/setup forum specific program forum... mod] error: sequence not opened More discussions in Premiere Pro CC adobe
