How can I know if a document had been edited?

hello,

 

i received pdf document numbers company making business. suspect document edited.

i checked properties , shows created , modified on different dates. shows application used illustrator.

my question is: how can 100% sure document edited illustrator? or if illustrator pdf producer embedded in other company's software created document, example?

is there way find out? can official statement adobe indicating edited? can make official investigation?

there's not chance adobe become involved. there people forensic investigation of computer files, can tell informally , of info can faked in seconds. , pdf editing tools may not change info. expensive investigation tell nothing of real value.

 

this why digital signatures invented, can't used after event.
