Text garbled by preflight digital press (BW) mode

i received pdf file client needs digitally printed in black , white.  when use preflight digital press (bw) mode, garbles text on title page -- i.e., of characters moved different locations in line.  interestingly, when isolate page standalone doc , run same function, nothing happens; gets garbled if there additional pages in document.  may connected "flatten transparency" function part of particular preflight mode, that's displayed in status window when garbling occurs.

 

i happy attached actual shortened pdfs illustrating before , after, don't see how attach files here, instead i'll embed screen captures.

 

i'm using acrobat 11.0.17 on mac os x 10.11.2.

no 1 has ideas on this? can assume it's major bug then?

Illustrator CS6 Ocurrío un error E/S en el archivo.

este error me me sale cada ves que guardo un archivo que ya estado trabajando varias veces, sale cuando ya esta finalizando el proceso de guardar, ya probe cambiar nombre del archivo, ubicación de guardado, convertí curvas las fuentes y sigue saliendo el mismo error, no se que mas hacer, si alguien le ha sucedido y sabe como solucionarlo por favor ayuda. versión exacta (acerca de illustrator) de illustrator? versión sistema operativo?   guardas en el disco duro principal del ordenador o en otro disco, memoria pendrive,...? ese disco que clase de disco, modelo, antiguedad, espacio libre,...? InDesign CC 2015 won't open - plugplugowl.dll
