Earlier CS version legacy "Effects" support dropped or bug (Add Arrowheads).

if have files "effects" applied strokes using old effect panel e.g. 'add arrowheads' (i think cs4), these supported fine in illustrator 2015 appearance panel looks support might have been been dropped in 2015.3. appearance panel still shows applied effects you'll "failed process appearance of object" error if try edit stroke. think may bug rather deliberate lack of support since effects listed in appearance panel. have reported bug , feature request. if stroke 'effects' translated on opening latest stroke panel way of doing things.

i discovered last week, when editing old file hadn't been touched in several years. took few moments me realize arrowheads cause of error.

Why is os_ViewContainer running?

when open illustrator (cc) opens window os_viewcontainer cannot view or close. shows in taskbar second window illustrator when mousing on ai icon. have tried select no luck. have tried clear using red x, no luck. close when close illustrator. wondering why there , if should concerned. oh, running windows 10. hi ccsachs,   as per query when launch illustrator opens " os_viewcontainer "   i request please share screenshots along below-mentioned details:   exact version of illustrator  graphic card using , when updated last time how performs in safe mode? Animate - problem with duplicating scripts after loop
